Circuit protection and installation design must suit the supplied charger, cable route and applicable requirements.
What we confirm separately
The standard package includes solar/app setup. Additional cable runs, monitoring changes or difficult access are scoped separately; the 8 m vehicle lead does not increase the circuit cable allowance.
Longer cable routes, trenching, difficult access, switchboard upgrades, supply-authority work and strata infrastructure are assessed separately where required. We agree additional work before proceeding.

What does E2 Plus add over E2 Core?
E2 Plus has an 8 m attached cable, Wi-Fi plus cellular connectivity and four finishes. Core uses a 5 m cable and Wi-Fi. Both models include solar diversion.
How long is the E2 Plus charging cable?
The supplied Type 2 lead is 8 m. This is useful where the inlet is at the far end of the car, but the route should still avoid tension, trip hazards and driving over the cable.
Will the E2 Plus work where my Wi-Fi is weak?
Built-in cellular connectivity offers another connection option. Coverage at the mounting position still needs checking; it should not be assumed in an enclosed basement.
Can E2 Plus charge only from surplus solar?
Solar diversion can prioritise available excess generation with suitable monitoring and settings. A minimum surplus is needed to start, so charging can pause when generation is low.
Can I override solar mode when I need the car charged sooner?
Evnex provides a Charge Now override. It allows charging outside the usual solar or schedule behaviour, subject to the vehicle and configured electrical limits.
Is E2 Plus available in different colours?
Yes: Snow, Sand, Stone and Volcanic. Evnex recommends Snow for indoor use because it can discolour outdoors; discuss the proposed position before choosing a finish.
Does E2 Plus charge faster than E2 Core?
Both are rated up to 7.4 kW single phase. Plus adds cable reach and connectivity, rather than a higher maximum charging rate.
Can E2 Plus be used with solar and a home battery?
Yes, with the monitoring, wiring and battery settings planned together. Tell us whether you want to protect stored energy for the house or allow it to contribute to vehicle charging.
What is included in the E2 Plus installation package?
An E2 Plus charger, listed protection, isolator, up to 2 m of circuit cable, solar/app setup, testing and a compliance certificate. Choose the finish during the quote; extra site work is separately agreed.
What warranty covers the E2 Plus?
Evnex publishes a four-year residential and three-year commercial product warranty, subject to its terms. We can explain the installation scope and ongoing support separately.
